The Masdar
Project
A wind farm called Masdar in border
of Saudi worth $200 million the government been ordered it by 2020, there are
two projects has been built Shams 1 and Nour 1 with 100mw, but its seen like
not enough said Dr Goeble “You can build 300mw farm” because of the wind is
stronger than in the Island.
The project will be done in 6 weeks
and the project would be running the energy to the grid 2 years but it will be
depend on the study. The wind power is limited because of the wind in GCC;
means some days there is not going to be wind.
Masadar has a bank long of $600m to
cover the cost sharing with other two companies but the Government will pay the
different of the cost.
