personal reflection 2

What is the best way to learn writing? When I start to learn writing, I got lost in the begening, I couldn’t write any thing, when ever we have an easay to write. I set down with a plank pepare and try to sqeaze my brain but no thing is coming out, not even punch of word to make a nice sentence, until I attended this course with Mr. Vrhovnik,

Researches showed that the best way to lean how to write is reading, when ever the student start to read his or her brain will start to store the in information such as grammer, vocab, how is the word is writing and instrancted, than the brain will be able to deliver the point clearly.

For a man to write well, there are required three necessaries: to read the best authors, observe the best speakers, and much exercise of his own style.

However, that what Mr. Vrhovnik is doing in this cours to the class, first he asked the student sumorise articles so, in case of sumorising anything been written we need to read it carfully and understand it then we will be able to sumerise it, so surmising the articles made me read more and improve my ablity to write.

Read everything--trash, classics, good and bad, and see how they do it. Just like a carpenter who works as an apprentice and studies the master. Read! You'll absorb it. Then write. If it is good, you'll find out.

Personal reflection 1

Hi every body, im writing my first personal reflaction in this whosam class, where is not much stuff to write down which I hate to do, I don’t like writing because its something I don’t enjoy to do it and my brain is get shotdown when I bring a piese of pepar to write it. But my writing cours with Mr.Vrhovnik seems to be fun couse he is teaching us writing by his way which is fun and not boring. Must of the work we do is reading articles and sumorise it. Before I start this course I couldn’t even write half of page but after all reading that I have done I could make a beautiful paragraphs with over haundred words and an easay. I think Mr.Vrhovnik is using the method of “ read to be able to write” I read one day about it. When I was teaching writing--and I still say it--I taught that the best way to learn to write is by reading. Reading critically, noticing paragraphs that get the job done, how your favorite writers use verbs, all the useful techniques. A scene catches you? Go back and study it. Find out how it works.

Consumerism

Are you wondering where stuff came from and where its end up? We get the material to create the stuff from the nature. As we create things, we often destroy the natural environment around us. Also, while the nature is being destroyed, people lose their source of livelihood by losing their houses and food sources. However, companies are using the material from these natural sources and they also use the people that used to live in these places as workers. They provide shelters and a small amount of money for these people to survive. On the other hand, hungry consumers are waiting for new products to come up to satisfy the needs that the media has created. The media been drawing good pictures for the customer just to make them buy new items and replace the old items. When the consumer is done with the old item, it would be in a bad condition and would not be suitable for recycling.

Ms. Annie explained to the public about the manufacturers, and she shows all the hidden parts and secrets that people don’t know about how items are made. Consumption is being increased by the consumers because of the corporations push them to shop and spend their money to satisfied their artificial hunger. On the other hand, corporations are getting bigger and having more power to play their artificial game better. We are the losers because we are the ones who the game been applied on and nature is being destroyed in the end.

When people are watching TV, they actually are getting motivated mentally by the corporations. They run to buy what the corporations are asking them to buy and also what is the new in the market. It doesn’t even matter if it’s useful for the consumer or not. For example, even the cars if we look at now a days, the corporation making them make sure it’s beautiful and distributed properly. However, when it comes to quality, it is a different story. Recently, the new cars runs only for 3 to 5 years and then it falls apart. The corporations are coming up with ‘’new stilly’’ cars every 5 years, although it might have more options, its quality is the worst.

On the other hand, laptops have the same shape since the manufacturers never really change its shape. Hundreds of these items are coming up in the market every year but it’s still almost always the same. Furthermore, there is a serious problem if people start to get lonely and put themselves at to keep up with this fantasy lifestyle. In UAE for example, some guys buy high class vehicles just to keep up with the fantasy lifestyle even if they putting on their selves in a financial burden.

It’s kind of impossible to stop the huge corporations from doing what they doing but we are the only the ones who are able to control the situation by controlling our selves from over buying their goods. Its really good to warn people who been used by these corporations but its may not be good enough. First of all we have to start by saving the forest, encourage clean production, encourage labor rights, etc. In the end, the main role is for the government to control the corporations from mass-producing low quality goods. People must get united and get involved in protecting the natural environment.

Smart board

How could a board be smart? Smart board was invented In 1991 by David martin who has created this beautiful smart system for multiple uses such as in lectures and presentations either for teaching in schools or business needs. In old days teachers used to teach lessons, by the old fashion way which is the chalkboard, it was useful but it wasn’t healthy and helpful like now a days with the smart board, the new technology works as an input and in the same time as an output for the computer to make it easy for the user to present the information, and save it. Since this technology came in the market, its attract a lot of customer to buy it, because people always look for the good advantage which the smart board has. In the other hands they are awared about the smell disadvantage that smart board has which is haven’t been found yet.

Since the smart board came in the market, it has made a lot of change on the people who is using it, smart boards have replace the chalkboard and the white board in some of the new modern countries such as united stat and UAE, the teachers are able to notice the improvement on the student since the smart board interred the class rooms. furthermore, smart board makes easy for the teachers or the presenters to present the subject by helping out the teacher in the math, physics, language and grammar etc. however, In 1801 the chalkboard was the only way for the teacher and the presenter to deliver the information for the audients, it was useful and helped a lot but the problem was in the dust that makes while using it so was harmful for the longs of everybody in the environment, then the white board with pans comes to make class rooms and the business meeting more clean and healthy but it wasn’t good enough while the technology is taking over, in 1991 Dived Martin came up with a smart technology to catch-up with crazy world development and combine a board with the computer and release it to the market, when everybody start to replace the old board with a new technology.

If you would ask me to tell you what is the smart board in short suntans I would say, Smart board is simple white board combine with the technology of the computer. However, smart board comes with tow type of screen either the flat panel or the projection screen, both has different resolution. For the flat panel there are two options either plasma or LCD. Also the projection has tow types of screen which are the rear or the front projection screens. Furthermore, those teach screen are connected to computer by to different ways, cable or wirelessly. If The screen is connected by cable, It might done either with a serial port or USB, but for the big rooms the option of the wireless is batter not to waist cables, and when its connected to the computer, we will have a teach screen monitor.

When we have this smart screen connected to the power of the computer we will have an amazing board that respond for the touch, highlight, drags, save, delete and moving the icons around by the finger of tools that has different color as we want. All these options that we have in this new investment allows us to use it in many different situation, not only the teachers are happy with it, also the business men are more convertible to present their ideas in nice, clean and modern way.

Summary 2

The Masdar Project

A wind farm called Masdar in border of Saudi worth $200 million the government been ordered it by 2020, there are two projects has been built Shams 1 and Nour 1 with 100mw, but its seen like not enough said Dr Goeble “You can build 300mw farm” because of the wind is stronger than in the Island.

The project will be done in 6 weeks and the project would be running the energy to the grid 2 years but it will be depend on the study. The wind power is limited because of the wind in GCC; means some days there is not going to be wind.

Masadar has a bank long of $600m to cover the cost sharing with other two companies but the Government will pay the different of the cost.
